I know nothing about cars but need advice. What is a good car that can be gotten for up to 5k euros used (in southern europe)? Not asking for anything special just not generic A-class normiecar.

grab anything JDM, and if you dont know what JDM is oh boy do you have some googling to do my man.
What I can say is if you dont look back after you park it you've bought the wrong car, you will spend a good couple of years of your life in a car so make sure you enjoy that time in something that is enjoyable to drive.

Is a Mazda RX-7 FC cupe any good?
>>17816739
Oh good lordy yes, but is a rotary so you'll need to know that it will burn through fuel more quickly then a piston engine, and will need a bit of maintenance on the regular more so then a piston engine, but still are amazing cars to drive and is relatively cheap on parts. But understand that any car you buy will be a money pit but an enjoyable one at that.
Is this your first car?
forgot to add this mint little rx7

The MX5 NA is great. In my opinion it has the best price/fun ratio. However, I would be careful if you are a beginner in driving. MX5, RX7, etc. are all RWD - that's great but you can get off the road pretty quickly. Keep that in mind. Also anything with an (old) turbo is a no-go for beginners. So don't even think about Skylines or Silvias yet.
I would go with the MX5. The price for it is getting higher so you might even profit when selling it in future.

Yes, first car indeed. It's right on the money, 5k euro, looks in pretty good state, insured and registered too.
