How does a 22 year old born to a poor, coddling single mother move out into the world and become independent?
So much stuff such as taxes and credit and whatever else comes with being an adult seems so foreign to me at this point that I don't know where to start.

I'm too much of a soft cunt though and a sad bitter loner who can't relate to many people.

All you need is the physical energy to work, the mindset to save your money, and a decent entry level job. Start in restaurants as a dishwasher, or a busser, or even a server. Start in manual labor. Start wherever you feel you can work the grind for long term. I personally hate retail.
There are many options to find work depending on where you live. The internet is a great tool. Oil rigs need bodies. Farmers need crop pickers. You could help plant trees seasonally. Many things.
Credit is pointless unless you're applying for housing. Some people require a credit score before accepting you.
Taxes are a matter of filling out a form once you are employed. Again, internet is a great tool.
Find a job first. Make sure you are in good physical health. Make sure you have something you are working on/doijg something APART from the grind, that you find enjoyment in. For myself, it is lifting weights and listening to podcasts. Live simply and frugally, and before long, you will get where you need to be.
There may be things you need to change and/or stop doing in order to get into the rhythm of this.
