If you're generally attractive and say you're a virgin, people will assume that you simply didn't want to get laid. If you're not attractive and say you're a virgin, nobody would be surprised and if you're not attractive and say you're not a virgin, people will assume that you're full of shit ... which is suboptimal but again, doesn't really matter.
