hmm, I'm not too familiar with what's been picked up here lately.
Old school digimon was great in my day, I remember watching Hamtaro as a kid too and liking it. I can't remember how old I was though, might be a bit young for her, but cute nonetheless.

If she's a good weeb and can do subtitles I can list a couple more kid friendly ones.

When I was about 9 through 10 years old, the first anime I watched from the beginning to the end was Ranma 1/2. But then again, I already had seen several couple of episodes before when I was even younger, so it was kind of a nostalgia thing. I still enjoyed lots nonetheless, but I mimagine most 9 year old girls wouldn't be that into it (maybe).

I also really liked Honshin Engi and Saber Marionette. (though this was more when I was 11 or 12)

Pretty much any will do, unless it's boring shit like Evangelion or got an overly confusing plot. Kids are a lot smarter than people usually give them credit for.

One Piece is a good start due the themes but something like AoT or Code Geass would work fine too.

My kids enjoyed dragon ball. Its more nostalgic for me along with dbz but i see it as entry level stuff.

Not that i really even watch anime. When we actually watch tv im stuck watching paw patrol and teen titans go cause thats what the tv says we should like.

Why would it not be? I remember watching movies and reading books a lot more complex when I was 6-7, and most fairy tales and history docus got more violence.

Just show her almost any anime. Really. My family shows their kids any movie they want to see and it's only been a good thing. They even let the 8 year old play grand theft auto. Forget which one, whatever the latest one is. The kids aren't scared or traumatized if they see a rated R movie, they think it's awesome. You're wrong to think you need to find a suitable age range of movies for them. Just let them get exposed to the real world as soon as possible. It's better that way.

You know what these 7 year old kids were talking to me about over thanksgiving dinner? How cool five nights as freddys is. That's one of the scariest games out there for kids or adults. And they were going on and on about theses scary cool creepy pasta stories they read on the internet. Not all they were talking about but the point is they brought up stuff like that every now and then as if they were fascinated by it and thought it was cool. In an innocent not creepy way.

So yeah anyway's I think i've driven the point home enough now. Just let them watch really anything.
