That is what I'm doing, unfortunately I don't have enough experience yet to get hired for it because I'm still in college.

I just can't handle another menial retail job with low wages, inconsistent hours, and micro-managing bosses.

Get into a field that doesn't require much effort. For me it was TIG welding.

Realize that no matter what field you get into, newcomers shovel shit. It's a tradition, the first few months of a new job suck ass. But it's all about climbing the ladder. I started off MIG welding spider clamps all day, now I get to sit on my ass and TIG weld repairs on robot welded pieces. Easy life, good pay.
