I was with my first gf for 3 years, back when I was 16 and after some initial humpy pumpy I basically never wanted or felt like having sex.

I later discovered it was likely due to simple depression (I wasn't unhappy or anything, and didn't know I was depressed at the time, but I was). Now that my health, fitness and thus my sex hormones are all back in line I want to fuck every night, it makes me far more social too.

tl;dr probably sex hormones. Talk to him/her about it and ask them to get a free test/estrogen/etc lab test, they start at around £30/$50

Also if they're sensitive and may take it personally, outline that you're concerned about their health so it takes the angle the right way
