Is it possible to know who visits you facebook profile?
Yes, by asking people if they visited your profile.

Don't listen to this guy.
They know.
I have heard rumors, that people who you see in that "do you know this person" part are people who have looked at your profile. But I have nothing to back up this claim. Seems plausible though.
No ad on facebook is by accident. I onetime was looking for an apartment on google. Soon o realized apartment adds in exact neighborhoods that I browsed, being advertised on facebook.

H-how?
anyone know how or why the same 6-9 people show on my page when I view my profile on my phone?

It's fb's way encourage you to add more friends, like "people you might be interested in according to our algorithm".

This. I was stalking my ex's new boyfriend for ages until apparently I started showing up in his 'people you may know' section, even though we had no mutual friends.

Ah sorry I meant the side part that shows your friends list but it just shows the same 6-9 people everytime i go on my page.
There is/used to be away if you looked in the source-code of your profile, and copy-pasted the ID-numbers in the corrects section and you looked them up in another tab, it would show the people checking it out. I don't know how though, My bf showed me once and it ended with "look you were on of my recent visitors" when I hadn't looked at it for more than a week, though he could just not have had any in the meantime. Or he just did that to trick me, idk.
I don't really care who visits my page so I never checked it up further, give it a google and see if it's real. It was like 6 months ago ago so it might have been changed anyhow.
