How the fuck do I fall asleep?! I've never had this problem before. In the last 3 weeks or so, I can't fall asleep in a timely manner unless I'm drunk. Weed doesn't work. Music doesn't work. I lay awake for 3 hours or more before I fall asleep and I'm getting sick of it.

Try to induce a lucid dream. Just stay awake but keep very still. Your body will want to move, such as making you itch. But fight this. After a while you should be asleep but not asleep and able to fly or some shit.

I've tried that too. I could do it before and fall asleep within half an hour. It's not working anymore. Any other ideas?

I don't drink every day. 3 or 4 nights a week, max, and it's never been a problem before.

Looking at bright backlit screens prohibits melatonin production. Go offline thirty minutes prior to bed.
Also. Beds are for sleep and sex only. This trains your brain to shutdown when you lay down. Third what you do when you wake up is also important. If you lay around another thirty minutes, expect to do the same at night. When you wake up get moving immediately.

Nope!

I'll try that tomorrow, thanks.

I don't lay around but I do snooze button a few times. Does that count?
You may have a problem with alcohol. High intake will inhibit GABA production when alcohol is not present. Less GABA means less relaxed. Cutting alcohol should restore GABA function within three days.

I haven't had a drink since Saturday night, so I should be ok. But I'm not. Thanks though, something to keep in mind.
