My girlfriends mother is a goddamn nutbag, and she is caliming that a check that was a gift to my GF from her dad was forged.
Shes been on and off her skitzo meds for the last 10 years, and has been threatening to go to the police about the "fraud" since my GF received the check back in may.
We have gone to the cops about this and they haven't been very helpful because she hasn't filed anything yet.
We are in the process of getting a restraining order so that she will finally fuck off and leave us the hell alone.
What do /adv/?

Mental health services in America are a joke. Restraining orders will do little against a psychotic: they can't exactly comprehend the concept of prison well enough for it to serve as deterrence.

My advice is buy a gun.
