IS IT TRUE THAT WHOLE OATS CAN CAUSE TOOTH DECAY??? Or whole grain, I have cavities and I would like to just.... not have them continue to become worse cavities. What's foods other than the obvious ( like sodas, sugars etc ) should I be avoiding?

Wrong. As long as you have a low sugar diet you should just be able to scrape of plaque build up with a tissue.

Avoid anything high in sugar. Some oats have added sugars or dried fruits which a horribly bad for your teeth. Avoid things like sunflower seeds. Stick mostly to fresh produce and whats in season and you'll be fine.
