So i need advice about getting a job, or well, a different job.
To clarify i already have a good job. Good pay, good benefits, not an overly stressful work environment. Everyone i complain to basically tells me to shut up, cause where im from the job i have is something allot of people would like to do (its data entry, allot better payed then most stuff).
Problem is im very unhappy. Not with the job itself, it is boring as fucking shit, but its not that. Thing is that im kind of a introvert by nature, i like people and people like me, i just like people in small doses, and when i can function like that i am generally happy.
This data entry job tho, it forces me to be surrounded by people day in and day out, with their banter, with their problems, everything. I dont hate them, they like me and i like most of them, but i dont really feel like working there, at all. I took a 2 week vacation and it felt amazing just being home for 2 weeks. Today was my first day back, i wanted to gnaw my arms off in frustration.
Worse off, while im now in a office with like 30 people jabbering on all the time, im soon to be transferred into an "open space", where there will be like 300 people in one room talking.
So what kind of jobs can you work from home? I dont mind working, i dont need tons of money, i just want to work from home. Even if its data entry like im doing now, as long as i can do it from the comfort of my own home. My ex worked with Photoshop, and worked for some American company from the comfort of her own home, but i cant really ask her, nor am i good with Photoshop.
TLDR: I want to get a job i can do from the comfort of my own home so i dont have to socialize more then i feel comfortable with.

Working from home gets pretty boring too, even though you're an introvert, you still need to socialize and be around people to feel happy.

Friend it sounds like you have some type of social anxiety where you are easily overstimulated. If you have good benefits, consider seeing a doctor about managing it.
Otherwise go into medical billing - it's a data entry job many people do from home - I have two family members who went from office jobs to med billing and they both work from home.

I can socialize, i have people i hang out with. Thing is im forced to be around people im not interested in, which wouldnt be bad per say if it wasnt every day. Im overstimulated by these people, as evident by the fact that i wanted to drive my damn car into a ditch this morning while going to work because i know i will be surrounded by innumerable comments, chit-chat, gossip and more. When i zone out with earphones then everyone just is on my case about it and want me to talk to them. I spent half a year now talking to them, theres literally nothing interesting i have to say or hear from these people, especially since most of them are older than me and the ones that arent arent fun to be around.

Can you elaborate a bit? What exactly does medical billing entail? Do i need some special knowledge to work in it? English isnt my first language but i can write and speak it very well.

I'm exactly like you in terms of I'm a classic introvert - I like to socialise but it drains me, and doing it too much can be harmful to me mentally. I'm in academia now and it's fantastic. I'm doing a PhD that's in the lab but only a couple of days a week and at home the rest of the time, so I see people and then I get to fuck off and read by myself - plus a lot of other people in the workplace are introverts too. It may or may not suit you but personally I find being in a university environment fantastic.

I'm from the UK, but I'm pretty sure you can still get into grad school with scholarships in the US. I get £14k (untaxed), it's not great but it's enough to keep me going - and I'm happy with the work, which to me is more important than being paid more. Before deciding to go to university I worked in a bookies, the forced constant socialisation made me end up being suicidal, so this is definitely an improvement.

I dunno how that whole thing works, but i already finished uni, and got a diploma of an "economist".
So i dunno if i can even just magically come back to uni and do that work. Especially since my grades werent all that impressive.

That's fair enough - it's definitely something you can try and get back into, but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. But definitely worth mentioning as a good work environment.
