I started med school this year (at a "midwest ivy" school) and had to leave due to severe depression/anxiety. Is it likely that I'll even finish med school with these issues present?

How would you recommend I get out of this (I'm taking meds and entering an outpatient treatment soon).

Will I have to disclose any of this on my psychiatry residency application?

How would you recommend studying in med school? I got crazy overwhelmed, stayed in bed all day and stopped eating (which I imagine only increased my anxiety)

Any special tips for owning Steps 1?
