This may carry some truth but there's more to it than that. Consider things like demographics or the methods of which OP is even trying to meet women in the first place. Consider things like compatibility and not just whether or not somebody is "good enough".

It's likely a compatibility issue, more than an issue of not being "good enough". The people who look for relationship material partners tend to be extremely picky and exacting on their standards. Not just when it comes to sexual history, but everything from looks to finances to very specific personality traits. It could even be argued that these people stray into the realm of being too picky for their own good.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt to ask yourself what you bring to the table but you shouldn't always assume you weren't good enough for somebody just because they turned you down. At the very least, if you can't think of something you did that was very damning to the attraction and courtship process, or if there's nothing off-putting about you that absolutely nobody would want to put up with, then you're probably already good enough and need to play the numbers game more, which is exactly how a lot of people met their current 'quality' partners in the first place.

Most of what you say is picking on the fact that the girl is withholdimg sex for reasons unknown. If she is after something you posess physically or mentally and uses sex as a carrot the it an whole other story.

This either means she likes to take her time or isn't interested, but in my experience it's always been the later. In my experience with women the ones who desired me at all as more than a friend wanted to move pretty quickly. They HATED hesitating on the physical stuff. I don't mean sleeping on the first night but they would generally go from eyeing me up to breaking the touch barrier etc. rather quickly. This doesn't mean that no woman has ever withheld sex for her own reasons, but my personal experiences lead me to be a little biased toward the notion that withholding sex or even implying that she needs time=lack of pure desire on her part, which means the relationship is damned from the start.

I've only ever seen it as a sign that things are not going to work out and that she's not truly interested. Every time a woman has turned me down she's gone off to hook up with another guy without a second thought. I see what you're saying, but none of the women I've ever met have honestly wanted to slow things down, they were always just subtly rejecting me and hoping I understood that (which I always did).
