I got my learner’s permit when I was in High School and I took drivers lessons afterwards. I took the actual test but failed twice, and never really cares after that.
Im 21 now and I live by myself in the city, and I get around via bus. It sucks but it gets the job done.
I want to stop being a beta and get my actual license. How can I practice when my parents live nearly 45 minutes away from me and I live in the city. Is it honestly just better for me to wait until I move to a more suburbian place?
Illegally its the only logical way. I failed my written test about 4 times passed the driven part the 1st time it was ez.

What state do you live in?
Also I would check some driving schools. some places if you have your permit and take their course you get a waiver for the road test.

Pennsylvania
i don't know what the american rules are, can't you practice with a driving school?
always better to get this stuff done sooner rather than later. you never know when you might need it.
Don't over think it man. Driving is easy peasy once you get a little bit of practice.
You could hire someone to teach you. Alternatively, maybe a friend that has a car?
