I went to the hairdressers today because my hair was messy as fuck. I decided to go for the style in the picture but the hairdresser left out the triangle bits at the side and I feel it resembles a bowl-cut too much. What should I do?

It was cut. To get the triangle form I'd have to get it shorter.
