Srs. I see friend groups of like 10 people + containing girls and guys, and they all come from entirely different backgrounds
what the fuck do they talk about? what the fuck do normie friend groups of that size even do?
I normally see group pics on instagram and facebook and get super jelly, but now I'm just curious

They are all fake as fuck circle jerking 100% of the time and constantly on their phones since they are addicted to ego and social media.

You'd probably consider me to be a 'normie' but I've never understood how large friend groups work either. Every largeish friend group I've been part of has been an amalgam of several smaller ones.
As for finding things in common, you just do. You generally have a lot more in common with someone than things you don't

This.
And to add to that, remember that normies drink during pretty much every social event, which helps them pretend that they're socializing by talking about absolutely asinine normie shit.
If it weren't for the lack of networking opportunities, you wouldn't actually miss out on anything if you don't participate.
Best I can tell you is to say fuck it and drink with them to forget yourself and your standards, like they do. If you're against alcohol, though, I'm shit out of ideas, you need a smarter person for that.

They talk about shared experiences and about other people that they know. So its pretty much impossible to become a member of a group after its already formed.
If you get one or two of them on their own you might be able to connect with them over something.
