I'm really fucking lazy and I'm getting sick of it. I can never get anything done and constantly procrastinate on things I need to do. I'm in my early twenties, unemployed and supposed to be sending off job applications but instead all I do is browse 4chan and play video games. I've been this way for years. Sometimes I think I'm just destined for the NEET life.
How the fuck do other people do it? I feel like I have no self control whatsoever and always just end up doing what feels good in the short term instead of doing what's good for me in the long term. I don't think I'm depressed and I don't really fit the definition of ADHD either. I just can't figure it out.

Back in the day, you had to work hard and make the effort. These days, the world tells you that it's okay to be lazy cunt.
It's a double edged sword though - you may be snagged into it today, but YOU have to fight the vices of modern temptation.

Find a study group or at the very least just ask your roommate when you guys want to study together. Even if you're studying different things having the other person to keep you in line is helpful.
