Just list a few.
The entry level deckhands on my boat make $290/day for 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Tugboat jobs pay well.
www.msc.mil is the US Navy's civilian ship crewing agency. It's not a military job, but you work either as a cook's helper/cargo handler/or on deck or in the engine room of a ship. Pays very well. You need to be willing to be on a ship for 6-12 months, but you'll make over $100,000 your first year, and it's not like the military, you go ashore to go whoring and drinking if you want and can be a lazy fatass so long as you do your job.

If you're in the UK you can't possibly be more than about 100 miles from the sea. And if you're not willing to relocate 100 miles for a good job, don't bother us.

Machine Learning researcher:
>bachelor(mathematics/computer science)
>masters(mathematics/computer science)
>PhD in Machine Learning
>200k-650k starting, the higher salary is for working for google and the like, your job depends on how relevant the work you contribute to the field is. If you write some stuff outside of your PhD, you'll definitely get a good job.
Disclaimer: by the time you reach this, machine learning as field will mature and slow down or it will heighten and have even more of a demand. Pretty big gamble.
