Im 21 y/o, studying in a foreign country. My monthly allowance is barely enough, so ive considered part-time job is an option. I dont really look for them, because my social anxiety is very bad, i will mumble and became voiceless when i talk to strangers.
Then, my friend introduced me to a job as kitchen porter at a fine-dining restaurant where he used to work at. They require no experience, and will accept anyone. I applied for the job and got it
However, they insisted for me to work as a waiter instead because there's not enough people. I go for it anyway at least i get a job. Today is the first day, i fucked up everything. I got called every 10 minute by the manager, owner, everyone for something i did. I spilled a pint of beer on a customer. I know everyone is mad at me but they tried so hard to be nice. Even, a collegue who being friendly at me at first, stopped talking to me later on. I dont feel like working anymore on next day. I ashamed to face them anymore. I know they wont fire me because they are desperate for people but that would be great. I also very scared to quit now, ive gone too far, too much dissapointment we result from this, to them, to my friends, to me. Im still nervous for tommorow

Honestly try to see how you can avoid that shit from happening again and look online on tips to become a sucessful waiter. Everyone has been in your shoes in every avenue of life.
If you look back at this in 3 years you will laugh but at this moment it is all you're thinking about. I know it's shitty but that's just how it goes. You literally have no way out. There's no stopping you're in too far. It's either you hone up to your mistakes and apologize for fucking up so bad or you don't even show up and fuck them over even worse.
It's up to you but just know your friends name is on the line so either do shit about it or sit there trembling in your bed.

But i cant stop thinking about today. Nothing makes me feels better. I dont know if this is normal. Asking my friends who also used to be waiter, their first day is fine, just small problems.. I cant image if i tell them what happened today.
