I kind of want to start dressing a little more feminine, but I'm worried people will make fun of me. I know people say "don't give a fuck" but I really do because I can't stand people picking on me. I don't want to look like anyone else specifically, just develop my own sense of taste and style.

The only way to do this is to stop giving a fuck about what other people think. Fashion icons throughout history have always been mocked and jeered at by basics because of their unconventional style.
Part of what makes alternative fashion so attractive, imo, is the confidence it takes to wear whatever you want.

thanks. I think part of the problem is I never felt like I fit in anywhere. I think I need to just start doing my own thing and realize most people won't get it, but that's okay.
