By italians in general, sure. Alot of Italians in Staten island, but i dont go there. when it comes to mafia owned/operated, it's really really hard to tell. For sure, im certain the mob never stopped having connects with the sanitation department for cleaning up crime scenes.

you just don't hear about them in NY anymore, with the big names either dead, in jail, or in hiding, thanks to very heavy surveillance and cameras everywhere
