Happy birthday; it's mine too. My birthday was trash. Turned 27 and I still live with my mother, who emotionally abuses me and my father on a regular basis. Made the whole day really fuckin' sour.

Been with gf for 3 years, we moved across the country together a year ago today.

I'm making pretty trash money for my field, but I figured it was because I'm working at an indie gamedev studio and that it's worth it since its fun. However they just upgraded to a much bigger office space and are hiring two new employees this month, so they must have more money than they let on.

Thinking of asking for a raise. I don't really want much more, maybe 10k more to help pay off student loans and have less financial stress each month.
