is something wrong with my back?
>>
idk but you're cute
>>
>>
>>17716442
No just pull your shoulders back and stand up straight
>>
>>17716445
I think you are mistaken, i am really skinny and the worst thing you can do to a skinny people are take pictures from his side.
>>
Yes. You have scoliosis. You may need to see a surgeon and figure out if they can do anything, as this can cause major pain later in life and becomes more difficult to repair as you age.
>>
>>17716454
cont.
Just to emphasize, your case is pretty severe. I can't believe your GP never said anything, except I really can believe that because GP's are idiots who wipe snotty kid noses for 180,000 a year while everything they learned in medical school drips out one ear.
You need a referral to see a surgeon; you could definitely benefit from having it corrected. Don't even try to lift weights, by the way. You will have a real bad time.
>>
>>17716454
>>17716469
Not sure how you're seeing lateral curvature in the spine from this angle desu
>>
>>17716469
Thanks for that comment friend, i started lifting last month, i am really scared about this.

I made this post because i always had a feeling that i had something wrong because there is a huge curve like on the picture, but on the front is symetrical.
>>
>>17716453
id succ u
>>
>>17716477
in the vernacular, it's an easy to understand colloquial blanket statement for 'fucked up spine'. it's generally in poor taste to use terms that people don't understand; which is why i avoided saying lordosis and kyphosis, but rather referred him to a surgeon who's able to make a determination on whether surgery would be useful to him, and what he can do to improve his quality of life.
>>
>>
>>17716481
You need to stop doing compound lifts immediately- no deadlifts, cleans or squats. There's no telling what's going on with your spine and where the pressure is distributed. you have a much greater risk of disc herniation/taking a trip to snap city than the average person. for now, lift weights that are well within your comfort range and don't stress your back. nothing crazy, no setting PRs
>>
>>17716491
male or female?
>>
You're shifting your pelvis too far forward, causing your spine to jut forward like that.
>>
>>17716517
>>17716504
Can i repair this by myself with exercises and stuff?
>>
>>17716509

post bum
>>
>>17716521
I'm not an expert, but it looks like it's too bad to be resolved with physical activity. Definitely talk to a specialist.

Just a curiosity, is >>17716446 as straight as you can get your arms when trying to hold them above your head in the same line with the rest of your body?
>>
>>17716561
I will take a picture
>>
>>17716517
fuck off this isn't chiropractic, it's genetic
dont post if you don't know what you're saying

>>17716521
absolutely not. there may be some strengthening exercises you can do that your doctor will recommend, but they will by no means repair the defect. you probably need major surgery, a specialist can help you weigh the risks and benefits.
>>
kyphosis? although i'm not a doctor so maybe you should just bite the bullet and go see a specialist. it doesn't even look too severe whatever it is man so that;s good
>>
i will go to a physiotherapist, but i wont stop going in the gym, all this years and nobody see this issue?
>>
>>17716575
>dont post if you don't know what you're saying
So you should probably stop posting then?
>>
>>17716593
if you insist on doing deadlifts and squats it's your funeral
>>
Will post now a lot of pictures,

Mate >>17716561
I have to say, i can't , won't be straight
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
That's all folks.
Really angry right now.
>>
>>17716634
ur fucked up see a doctor
>>
But that's my fault or i was born like this?>>17716653
If it is my fault i can recover by myself right?
>>
>>17716663
no, you need to see a doctor
>>
>>17716442
You look fine to me, just skinny - What are you saying seem to be wrong?
>>
>>17716673
the curve.
>>
>>17716617
>won't be straight
Yeah, that's a problem. I had something like that in my teens, mostly from spending too much time in a chair and no physical activity but I could always straighten my arms. It was just my posture and it resolved itself after I started lifting, but it doesn't look like it's the case for you.

Go see a doctor about it. Maybe it doesn't require any kind of medical intervention, maybe you need to go through surgery. But trying to solve it by yourself and trying to figure out how from the internet will inevitably lead to more complications. Better to have an expert offer you a clear explanation.

You can continue lifting in the meantime, but DON'T DELAY and don't do anything that puts pressure on your spine. No lunges, no squats, no military press, no leg press, no deadlifts... there are probably more but I'm missing them now.
>>
>>17716620
cute :3
>>
>>17716442
I am an MD and a fitness professional. You have a normal back, just poor development, poor posture and weak lower back muscles. F you want to straighten it work on sitting up straight and pulling your abs to your spine to strengthen your core

>>17716686
male or female pls
>>
>>17716735
I can be a girl for you
>>
>>17716442
This isn't severe fucking scoliosis, this is bad posture brought on by the fact that you are so rail thin you have no muscles whatsoever. You look like a British musician.
>>
>>17716442
>NURSE GET ME A DOSE OF SS + GOMAD STAT

Seriously get some exercise and conciously try to pull your shoulders back and lift your head up.
>>
just can't, my body is like this
>>
>>17717055
Do rows, low rows, shoulder presses, push ups... Fucking exercise. This answer is literally idiotic
>>
>>17717086
Sorry i think you didn't understand me, i was talking about the part of my posture and stuff, and you didn't read the thread, i started going in to the gym 3 weeks ago.
>>
>>17716945
Look past the memes, Opie, and see the truth that this meat head speaks. Eat more. Lift progressively heavier weights.
>>
>>17717212
He's fucking telling you. Lay flat on your stomach on a bench and lift dumbbells flying out to the sides. Lie on your back and pull them up over your chest. Stand up and put the weights up over your head. Look on bodybuilding.com or YouTube for proper form.
>>
>>17716496
you dont look that skinny. you look a bit slim but that about it. you have an athletic build. you look healthy.
>>
>>17717232
oh yeah, i would also bum you.
>>
>>17716442
Anterior Pelvic Tilt?
Look that up on Youtube
>>
>>17716442
that back looks a tad too curved to be normal. I'd second seeing some sort of specialist. maybe a physical therapist.

The shoulders are definitely upper cross syndrome though. If you turn out not to have spine problems, very carefully and slowly learn how to do these:
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/DeltoidPosterior/DBRearLateralRaise.html
I do them on a bench, lying flat.

Also do barbel rows and pec minor stretches.
>>
PLEASE GET YOURSELF TO A GYM

AND PLEASE EAT
>>
>>17717232
Nice bait. An athlete in what sport? Competitive anorexia? He has no shoulders or triceps, no chest.
>>
>>17717232
>you have an athletic build

REEEEE NO HE DOESNT HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S STARVING SOMEONE GIVE THIS KID A SANDWICH
>>
>>17717278
contd

Also remember that most people have some sort of "deformity" or another. Big sternum, weird knees, it's not necessarily bad or unattractive. You just need to keep aware of it if you ever get into bodybuilding, and in your case be aware that you'll probably get neck pain eventually if you don't improve it some.
>>
>>17717282
he has shoulders in this pic
>>17716496

alright, he may not be as ripped as an athlete but he has the build of ones. look up athletes bodies and they are around the same size as him, maybe a bit bigger. getting big is pointless really, being at a healthy weight is more important.
>>
>>17717338
Haha those are bones. I mean he needs triceps, anterior and posterior delts. He has a very skinny body and I'm willing to bet no cardiac endurance at all. If his waist circumference were over 40" and his BMI were over 24.9, he'd be only a fractionally higher risk for heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Plus, common sense: look at his posture, he's never played sports in his life. This is not an athlete. Fuck off.
>>
actually i play some soccer, but if i say that i have bad "Genetics" you will say i am lying, but look my body, i have friends that do nothing and has better than me
>>17717384
>>
>>17717384
you're insecure. he looks like a pretty healthy weight.

>>17717545
what is your height and how much do you weigh? i cant take people serious who say you're small, the gym culture has made people obsesed with looking big. i thought you played soccer or something like that.
