Yes that's true, it can be hard if you have very different tastes. However another thing I like about it is you learn teamwork and tolerance, how to divide work, how to compromise, how to cope when the other person makes a mistake and it doesn't turn out so great. All very useful if you want the relationship to last.

Anyway that's my suggestion, of course it's not for everyone.
