There's no quick other than winning the lottery, inheritance or saving a generous rich man's life. The best you can do is start saving at a young age and use all the capitalist loopholes. Fill up an RRSP account first, theyre tax deductible and you can take up to 25k out interest free from that account to put as a down payment on your first home, or at least you can in Canada where I live. TFSAs after that, and when you have enough cash invest in mutual funds, and if you get the hang of that stocks. These are all long term (10+ yr ) investments that can easily turn 50k you put in into 500k, and that's with just a couple hundred bucks a month. You want to look for anything that pays dividends with high compound interest.

Even if you have an amazing new idea for a product, the only real way to make it happen is to borrow money from those that already have it - angel investors, banks, whatever - but if you are already wealthy you don't have to do that. If you're already wealthy and you work hard and the idea goes off - great, you're even more wealthy. If you had to borrow money, you probably sold shares in your company, in which case you might do fine for yourself, but you will mostly have created wealth for the already-wealthy.

Present capital is the pinch point by which our society exploits the multitudes to make money for the people who control present capital.

You might be able to give your kids a shot at it, though.
