Hey /adv/
What are your thoughts on splitting the cost of the pill with your partner?
Assuming it's your only form of birth control and you're in a longish term relationship?
Mainly just curious about this. Does anyone do this? Would it be weird? I brought it up in conversation with my girlfriend since she's on the pill and we don't use condoms and I basically just said after a while I would be okay to pay half.
Is that weird or a decent thing to do? My logic is that after a certain point in a relationship it's clearly for BOTH of you, so you should both contribute financially.
It's perfectly reasonable.

>Contraception is free
But yeah, split it if it makes you feel better

If you have to ask such a question its probably best you split up.
And Im not talking about the cost of the pill.
That sounds reasonable.

It costed my ex like $10 or something, not really worth splitting. It's also terrible for you so I'd just recommend she get off it completely and use the pull out method or condoms

I'll split abortion costs but not fucking monthly like a car payment. Fuck that

>use the pull out method
can't stop laughing

Dunno how much it costs in the rest of the world but here in AUS it costs $15 for 4 months, it's so trivial it's not even worth splitting
If you've merged your finances, then you are essentially doing this anyway.
Retarded.
