In short, the subject says it all.
It's 2:00 again and after hearing some creaking noises I got out of bed to search the entire house to attempt to find the source, but there was nothing there.
All the doors and windows were still properly locked, but now my mind is racing imagining an intruder at large in my home.
I still hear the creaking infrequently and it's scaring me terribly.
I just want to sleep so I can get the out of this house tomorrow, but how can I make it through tonight without having a metaphorial heart attack?
