'Sup /adv/, the problem is this
>Practicing karate for 3 years, one time a week
>I like it, orange belt atm
>Want to start lifting to gain muscle and grills
>Probably lifting only 2 times a week isn't enough
What do I do ? Would it be enough to lift 2 times a week and karate at the same time ? Will I have gains or do I have to leave martial arts ?
you only need to lift like 3-4 times a week... you probably will get gains with twice a week desu.

Anything is better than nothing.

If you want to get big, working out three times a week is optimal. That said, you can probably still gain the same (or close to) mass lifting twice a week, it'll just take a bit longer. You'll definatley gain more lifting twice a week than not at all, that's for sure.
>Want to start lifting to gain muscle and grills
Being big isn't a magic bullet for getting girls. It does help a bit in as much as people notice you more, and of course girls who like big guys will flock to you, but there are an auwful lot of women who either just don't like, or are even intimidated by big guys.

Give both a try and if it doesn't work drop the kungfu

What's the order of colors where you practice? Orange in three years seems awfully slow to me, but I may just be used to a different order.
Take up Jiu Jitsu and leave everything else behind
>tfw want to join judo so I can throw people to the ground and also be thrown to the ground
It sounds so fun. I wonder if I was a cat that liked to be thrown carefully in a past life.

Not unusual if OP isn't at a McDojo
