How often do people lie?

I consider myself quite the liar (for the greater good,) and I'd say I lie...maybe 20 times a day, or, at least a couple of times in every conversation I have.

I wouldn't say I really lie all that much but I exaggerate the importance of just about everything on my resume and it works.

Quite obviously this depends on the person. Some do it more and without a thought, some actively try to avoid it. You need to get to know people before you can tell where they fall with this.

I do the same. I lie to keep the vibe of the mood constant. As a truth could damper the mood.
