How do I detox myself from /pol/ and /r9k/?

Develop other interests and visit other boards
Or just visit boards you already like instead of those two

Go outside, talk with actual human beings and experience reality.

learn how to masturbate the right way
I'm in the process right now.
Haven't been to /r9k/ for about half a year and /pol/ for about a month, going on two.
Mainly I just go to hobbyist boards now. The secret is to only keep to blue boards at all times, pink boards will fuck you up.
You can make an exception to that for porn boards because those have literally 0 culture and are just picture dumps.
Good luck.
Read a book.

Oh, one more thing.
Some days when you're feeling extra 'kill myself'-y, you'll get a very strong feeling of wallowing in your own sadness back on /r9k/ with the rest of the robots.
Do NOT give in. Sleep on it if you have to, but just don't. Find another release and leave that shit behind.

Don't, for the love of god, post. Just lurk. Read the pol/r9k style threads and their dismissals until you feel disgusted and ashamed of your ignorance and selfishness respectively.
