get a timer or a study buddy, write answers to exam questions, prepare for exams making it feel like you're taking it.

I've recently been listening to ASMR videos which have helped me a lot. It keeps me focused and concentrated and I actually end up learning and retaining shit instead of just blasting through stuff mindlessly

what helps me is if it's a fact test like history or shit to rewrite the facts in my own words and then explain it to someone else. For math and science just work through problems until you're confident.
