So a new girl started at work last week or so. She waves to me when she comes in and tells me bye when she leaves, before I really introduced myself, she doesn't seem to do this to others from what I've seen. I introduced myself, talked about work bullshit, etc. when she came around. She always asks me questions first to everyone else and always asks me about when I get off work for some reason. She tends to initiate conversations 60/40.
Anyway, I said I might as well try to hit that before I quit work, so I asked her today if she wanted to go to the (insert place) this weekend. She asked "which day" and gave corresponding dates. She said she was working those days and gave me the name of the other place she works at. I responded about applying there and ended the conversation there.
A minute later, I suddenly realized I didn't get her fucking number. So I have two questions, do you think she's just being nice or actually interested? And should I get her number without coming off needy?
