When was the last time you worked out? Try doing toe touches laying down (to crunch your abdomen), bicycling your feet in the air (also laying down), or going for a run. Usually works for me. I would guess 20 minutes to an hour would do it.

You almost certainly don't feel food in your stomach. Your stomach isn't where you think it is (It's much higher) and so what you're feeling in your "tummy" is something else.
