Advice to deal with anxiety?

Same way you would eat an elephant.
One bite at a time.
Here's a greentext on what to do.
>Acknowledge you have anxiety
>Figure out when your anxiety is striking
>Slowly work on being okay with whatever is making you anxious
What do you think makes you anxious OP?

Ya I know when it strikes but have a hard time dealing with it after it starts. What do I do then?
Well, not pills. Find out why you have anxiety, then take care of it.

I wouldn't bash pills until you try them personally. I started taking Buspar not too long ago and I am not exaggerating when I say they turned my life around for the better. Before my anxiety was so bad I had panic attacks just from having thoughts about my future or turning in job applications. I got a full time job now and there's no way I could have held it in the state I once was. If you do get medication though, Buspar specifically, you can have some bad side effects at first, but tough them out after a week or two and it's worth it. I had vertigo so bad it floored me once or twice. No side effects now though.

That's good it worked for you, but I would rather not be medicated. Eventually I would have to get off the meds and deal with life again

I can respect that. Perhaps some psychology techniques? https://www.amazon.com/Cognitive-Therapy-Emotional-Disorders-Meridian/dp/0452009286
