I pet sit for a living. Usually just stop by the client's house once or twice a day to walk the dog or feed them. I usually work 4 or 5 hours a day and I make about $22 hourly.

I just scored a job pick packing, for Coles, an Australian supermarket. I basically drive around on a ride on pallet jack and pick things off shelves, I get paid $40 an hour AU. I won't be doing it for long, only got it so I can go overseas next Jan.

The Aussie's post got me curious, so I looked it up: it isn't much more at all, less than 10 percent in general. He's getting twice the pay for a cost of having to pay the equivalent of 11 dollars on something rather than 10.
