I'm finishing up highschool. Final year actually and before you report me for underage I'm actually 18 so yeah. I live with my parents and brother and they both combined make less than 46k a year. So, they're working shit jobs. I just want to know the best way to get money and support my family.

you're really asking in the wrong place

a lot of people here arn't wealthy, and most of the ones who are started ahead (though everyone likes to claim it was all their own work)

having money is just spending less than you earn
but becoming wealthier has more to do with lifting your income

while it's an option, if everyone was cut out for college things would be very different
the minimum wage in the united states doesn't support people like it does in other developed countries

to a large extent you need skills, an apprenticeship is a good way to go because even though the wage is tough you arn't accruing debt
a lot of people study a trade then open a small business, chefs, plumbers, locksmiths,
some trades are better than others, auto for instance usually pays little however there are a lot of enthusiasts in the field
electrical work pays very well, but can be tougher academically

stay a mile away from all those "get rich quick" schemes, peer marketing, investing etc
they are made by liars, and the people who get sucked in lie themselves

most people can get by with honest work, drive a truck, work in a factory or a farm
you'l be working all your life, but you won't go hungry

Depends where you are on the ladder. Most people return to their social class pretty quick even if they go completely broke, it's a mentality.

Moving up to middle / upper middle class is doable for most assumed their IQ isn't sub 90 / they didn't get a criminal record / aren't disabled. That's actually a lot to assume, sadly enough.

The irony is that if you are from a wealthy family, you are more likely to be healthy / high IQ / decent looking, etc.

Get to know people, people are the reason you succeed and is how I got all my internships for software development in spite of fucking off and having a mediocre GPA during college. If you don't know a good starting point then try volunteering for something. Your goal should be to have contact with as many privileged people in your community as you can.

This way isn't easy, but it's got a higher chance of success than just working your ass off and trying to go to college at the same time.
Join the Air Force, go for air traffic controller.
Don't fuck around during school, take it seriously or you will fail and get stuck with a shitty mechanical job.
Get CTO at end of course, allowing you to work as an ATC at any FAA facility in the country, making six figures.
Use Air Force career as job experience while simultaneously earning a decent paycheck and GI bill.
After six year contract is up, join FAA.

It's admirable that you want to help but you have to put your own future first. Have you considered the military? If you went in then your family wouldn't have to pay for you anymore, and when youget out in 4 years the govt will pay for you to go to college (if you're American)

Find a job relating to something you like unless the chances of success are ridiculously low like with art/sports. It's the only way that will work in the long run; besides doing something you don't hate to do, will make overtime and the likes more bearable.

You can't be doing the thing everybody else is. Too much competition from other people.
If you are smart and hard working, you can go to college in a difficult, demanding field that is in demand (doctor, engineer, agronomist) few people make it through the program so you have little competition.

If you are not that smart, you need a high demand skill that is difficult or uncomfortable. Welding on pipelines, high voltage electrician, farm tractor computer technician. It will take you a few years of hard uncomfortable work to learn the skills, but you make big $ afterwards.
