i dont know what to do with my life

i feel like i have nowhere to go guys

im so worried about going to uni for 3years and spending so much time and money on it when i know how hard it will be (in terms of money) after i finish the course.

i dont know if i would rather just settle into a full time job now.

its effecting my relationship as im getting emotional and having mood swings and i can see that its upsetting her and causing us to have fallings out

i dont know what to do

I worked all my life to be able to study human medicine. Now that Im here I miss all my discipline I had earlier. I just happen to pass exams because I do the least possible amount of work for learning. I hope to change this semester as it will have a lot of fun and interesting stuff but you never know. I also pay for it myself because my parents cant support me financially.
Im also in love with a girl which is engaged.

Do you have fun being creative? If yes, stay there. I've been there: Worked for 5 years to sustain my studies, worked well and got a farewell gift worth of one year salary (even though the boss hated me he wanted me to succeed in medicine, magnificent bastard). But I could have never stayed there for a full time job as I felt like in a cage. Maybe you try working full time for 1 year and afterwards you can decine on a better basis which is more suitable for you?
I feel really comfortable studying, even though my discipline is lacking.

I was abused as a kid, really my childhood was just a big spiral down. Pretty much emotionally numb most of the time. Parents divorced when I was 1, never really had a family, always had a stepdad/mom that didn't want me in the house. Mothers side with my younger siblings and one big sister+big sisters husband and their 4 children joined IS and now resides in Raqqa.
I'm just all around broken. I mean I still function, I make money and have some good friends but just generally, life is kind of shit. It's a bit overwhelming honestly

I see many faults in my self but I don't know how to approach and changing them,many times after a week or so I forget about them and remainder later when I fall in to depression or negative mind set..

I have a girlfriend (since 3 years), who fucked up her early-years in adult-life (MDMA induced depression, no job, no propper education, no friends, no propper family, daddy issues - and so on).
I have the feeling she blocks me from coming forward and hinders me from feeling free - plus she pulls me down, bullshit-tests me in times, where I need my energy by myself (12-14h work/days...).

On the other hand I feel pity for her + I understand and love her and she doesn't have anyone except me.

Can't decide what to do and hope that things get clear by themself - status quo for over 1,5 years....

What do you think about that?

This may have been the funniest thread I have ever seen. I like how everyone pussed out and abandoned thread. Shit is hilarious.

You know how people in high school treat the autistic or special ed kids really nice but don't actually want to spend time with them or associate with them unless they absolutely have to?

That's how all the "friends" I've made at college treat me, especially the girls. They're really nice to me when we run into each other or have to be together, but they never make any effort to reach out to me, spend time with me, or generally treat me like a friend at all unless I'm sitting there and they feel like they're obligated to pay attention to me. And the worst part is that they think I'm too stupid to notice them doing it.

I'm also not retarded and not autistic (a bit socially awkward but not horrifically) so I have no idea why I inspire people to treat me like this or how to make them stop it. I think I might need to start over with an entirely new friend group at this point, because the ones I've got now clearly don't give a damn about me.

And I can't even call them out on it because they'll just feign innocence and then spend the next week or so paying extra attention to me just to prove their sincerity, and then they go back to the same old habits.

I just want to be treated like a normal human being, is that too much to ask?

Have you tried reaching out to them? It sounds more like you are self centered and have your head up your own ass. If they didn't give a shit about you I doubt they would pretend to just to not upset you even if they truly thought you were retarded. Some of them might even be thinking that you think they are retarded and wondering why you haven't reached out to them. Quit being selfish, friendship takes effort on both sides. I got mine pulled with local anesthesia, no knock out. I was worried what all id say, and am scared of needles in arms.
