I think I fucked up my ear. For the past couple weeks my ears have been producing some really dark and smelly ear wax and itching like crazy.
I know it's a terrible idea, but I've been jamming a pen in my ears to clean them out and itch them. The other night I bought these ear wax softener drops to see if it'd help and I really don't see a difference.
Anyway, here's where I really fucked up. Last night my ear was getting itchy again but I thought I'd be smart and not shove anything in there. Instead I cupped my hand over my ear and suctioned it with my hand. This caused me some pain and made it feel like my ear is clogged and now I can't hear very well out of that ear.
I thought I could sleep it off but now that I'm awake whenever I yawn or move my jaw in a specific way my ear hurts like fuck. Any suggestions for what to do that don't involve going to the doctor?

its infected. go to your doctor.

the suction of your hand made a piece of the growth or dried blood/wax block your canal. youre hearing will return to once it was before you clogged it with suction.

note how i said before you clogged it. perhaps you already have had hearing damage but havent noticed it. you wont know until you see Dr. Shekelstein

Olive oil. Slightly heated up (and I mean slightly) and pour into your ears. It will clean them out faster than any softener on the market.
The pain you are describing is because you have caused hard wax to block up your canal and it is scrapping against it.
Get the olive oil. It will take a few hours but afterwards the pain will decrease and the next few days your hearing will return to normal.
