Is Desert eagle good for self-defense? My brother just gave me

desert eagles are basically the dragon dildo of handguns, unless you've got shaq hands its just gonna be a big silly thing

But hey, a gun's a gun. As long as you train with it you'll be able to use it in an emergency. Good luck if you were hoping to CC it though lol.

This thing jams like crazy if you dont fire it right. I rented one at a firing range before. Its a fun gun but I wouldnt use it for anything serious. Its bulky, heavy, ammo is pretty pricy, prone to jamming, isnt really all that accurate. Get a smaller pistol if you want something more effective for self defence, or be damn sure you can fire it properly if you should need it
