Hijacking this thread with a question of my own.

I've been speaking with a girl lately and this has been driving me mad. We met on tinder and have been speaking for a few days, she added me on facebook (I didn't have to ask for her number or anything) so she seemed fairly forward and open.

We'll be talking and suddenly her replies just devolve into one word answers, just a 'lol', or worse - the facebook thumbs up. The kind of behaviour I'd expect from someone who's trying to kill a conversation dead by purposely responding to a detailed message with a convo killing 'lol'.

Now I know you'll probably be thinking "well, he's probably just annoying her all the time with his stupid messages". However, she actually instigates our conversations just as much as me, so I know I'm not being a pest. I just don't get why she'd act that way, it makes me think I'm one of those annoying guys who pesters women with a barrage of unsolicited text messages, yet the next day she'll message me again like nothing happened.

Am I just reading into this too much and getting too disheartened by her perceived lack of interest at what I have to say? I'm just so confused. She's acting in the kind of way I'd expect her to act if she wanted nothing to do with me.

I just message them "do you date white guys?"

I usually get confused replies and we have a good laugh about it.
