/b/ was in a period of nothing but porn and generals, so i looked at all the other boards and started exploring.

namely /tv/ /x/ and a few others, but those two plus /adv/ lasted the longest.

got bored of /tv/ as i wasnt up to date on most stuff, and the culture there was just shit. 4chans known for everyone being ego centric but god damn /tv/ was the worst.

/x/ was nice, but i couldnt take most discussion seriously and it wasn't active enough for the parts i do like, plus its just kind of a cyclical info dump.

i work in a sort of 'self help' industry, and /adv/ appealed to me because of that. longest ive bene on any board. i tend to take breaks when i find myself getting cynical though.

and im certainyl getting cynical fast this time.

I come here to give advice. I have a little medical background, so I can help with some of those questions with a degree of certainty. Every once and a while, you come across a funny thread.

I lost my mojo. I got burned by a few girlfriends in the past, so I took a long time away from serious dating and stuck to hook ups for like 4 years. Got really jaded towards that. Started dating a girl I really liked, but I got burned again.

So now I'm trying half-assed to get back on the saddle and not let it shake me, but it did.

I don't talk about it on here much because nobody gives a shit and there's enough relationship threads as it is.
