I have an internet friend and we've been chatting for a few months now, and I really like them. But now, they want to Skype call and I'm hesitant about it because the pictures I sent through kik do not look like me in real life. It's not like I photoshop them beyond repair or anything, it's just the angle + when I move my face even just a bit it becomes 50% uglier. What do I do? I want to video call but it might ruin their impression of me, but it's not like I can say it's because I was catfishing them or anything, because I wasn't.

If you like them, it's better to video call soon and see if they like the real you or no.
If you're just friends, who cares if they like you physically or not.

Find the "right" angle on your webcam.

I guess you are at the point when your friend is already interested in you as a person, and it would be harder to scare them away.

Progressively send them worse pictures of yourself mixed in with the better ones, that way homeboy knows what you look like very well. By the time you video chat it'll be normal
