I live in cali and i can tell you they hire a lot of fresh greenies, i got the worst haircut in a long damn while from there, luckily i use hair gel/reformer so ita not like its ever a problem but man my hair looks like a downy hairstyle without any product

Just find a local barber shop dont go to a fucking chain. The key to getting a good haircut is seeing a competent barber over and over again so they get to know your hair and know what you like

Look up Yelp/Google reviews for your local barbershops/chains. There's no consistency in quality in a chain haircut place, it still comes down to the skill of the person cutting your hair. Just find the best-reviewed barber in your price range, and go to them
