Diagnosed aspie here (diagnosed with mild autism when I was 4).

Sperglord here. Do you have any friends who can accompany you? If so just do whatever they do during weekends and force yourself to socialise. If not then just get a hobby and hang around like-minded people. (Assuming you don't have a job or go to school, in which case literally just talk to anyone.) SSRIs can help a lot too. I'm barely able to go outside without spilling spaghetti if it wasn't for the meds.

Sensitive people. They're not automatically better, but they're more emotionally responsive and probably wouldn't feel good making fun of a person for having social awkwardness.

All of them. This is general, non-aspie advice.
If you want to socialize, any people will do, but all people can be dicks. If someone makes fun of you, just don't give a fuck and find someone else.

Aspie here as well. I go to a school with a ton of Aspies and they seem to get along fine with people. I assume you're into gaming so find a gaming club.

How bad is your autism now? Could you come across as an NT or no? I have a friend with Autism who is exceptionally smart but has a number of personality and language difficulties. Also he has to wear nighttime diapers which I find to be humiliating.

Still, with all these problems he has, he is very well liked at my school. Try to find your niche, or "tribe" as my counselor calls it.

You need to hang out with mature human beings who are not mentally impaired by their fucking egos all the time. Hard task, but you can do it. Of all the friends and acquaintances I come across (around 100 people, I guess) during a normal week at university I would point you in the direction of at most 5 people that I would consider reasonable human beings anyone would be easily comfortable with.
