Yea, you could definitely force yourself to be involved with something that deals with people and something you're interested in so you can meet people with similar interests.

not all volunteering is lame. sometimes it's pretty badass. in my area, there is free EMT training, dog rescue, dog adoption, and so on. being a firefighter is undoubtedly badass, although they're needing less and less of them.

there's another volunteer program where you keep old people company in their homes. sounds bizarre, but it makes sense when you think about it. that really benefits society, because they're getting emotionally and intellectually stimulated instead of vegetating and ending up in assisted living.

Get a job(if you dont have one). I had that problem and started working at dominos having to answer phones and drive to peoples houses and actually interact with them. Helped me tons
