Repartition and having to use formula.
Find and example write it down with all steps you can show, now start writing it out but actually try and do the working not jdt copy it, and if you get the wrong answer check back with your example see where you went wrong and try again.
I can remember pi to 24 decimal places, because I would just repeat it all day. Of you repeat something enough it'll stick

Math isn't something you read, you practice it. Practice the same style of questions until you get used to it and understand the process. Understand the questions, don't just learn them. Math is one of the few subjects that you can't just pass by simply learning everything, you need to actually spend time with it and understand it in order to really appreciate it.
