How do I get a girlfriend?

It seems every girl I really like is either taken, not interested, or our lifestyles don't match enough to date. I try to meet people at college, and my part-time retail job but no dice.While I have made a few friends and some of them female I currently have no clear path to a girlfriend or even just sex.

I'm 23, 6'0" in decent shape (but not ripped yet). Not a bad dresser, clean. Normal social skills, well-read, have good credit, over $20,000 in the bank...but no gf.

I would like a serious relationship (I hadn't felt this way before desu) but I would be satisfied with just sex. My standards are not incredibly high or anything.

How do I go about finding someone?

Anyways, expand your social circle. Meet your friend's friends and make efforts to get involved in whatever they're doing.

Every GF I've had was from a mutual friend or activity, so that's where I'd start looking.
