Just tell them you decided to vote for Hillary and find some actual friends in the mean time. If they're too immature about politics to talk about it openly and then get assblasted before listening to the opposing side then they don't need to be talking about politics to begin with. It's always a guilty by association with Americans when it comes to this shit so in the future just avoid it with anyone.

We would group chat for hours, along with video games for hours. The other friend and I helped our friend with his depression, and when he attempted to commit suicide. They helped me through some rough times when I needed to talk to people. Those are just a few examples
