just have some water or soda nearby to chase it, some alcohols like rum or tequila go down easier. If its cheap vodka or gin god help you though lol.

Why would you want to do that, the sensations of taking a shot are the best part imo. When you first drink it and it feels like you're about to breath fire, then after you swallow and it feels like a coal inside your belly. I enjoy that experience almost as much as the intoxication.
