is there a strong rationale behind 'the good ones are taken' regarding relationships and single availability around 25+ years old?

Yes. The really good ones were snapped up early, and anyone who does become single will be snapped up again before you have a chance to do anything about it.

good ones are desirable. no one wnats a bad one. ergo good oens are pursued. by the time a girl breaks up they already have guys who were just waiting for their chance, or even have a back up in mind.
this isn't to sound dumb ass meninist 'boo hoo girls have it easy' though because there are still plenty of good ones you can get your hands on.
the problem here is you are judging people on an objective scale instead of a subjective one.
real relationships come from a mutual feeling, and girls tend to wait more for that mutua lfeeling whereas guys tend to just date hte first girl to settle for them.
You have four choices past 25
1.) You can date ugly women
2.) You can date single mothers
3.) Alone forever
4.) Cradle rob
It's less that they're 'taken' and more that they're just not accessible to you.

Only 3 and 4 are actual choices.
1 and 2 are for pathetic beta cucks.

It's the difference between buying someone's used car, and owning a new car for 5 years.
